Mobility Doctor Changing Name to Angelion Mobility
Company’s Commitment to “Empowering Your Tomorrow” Remains Steadfast
HAMILTON, NJ _ Mobility Doctor, a leading provider of quality solutions that help seniors and people with disabilities remain at home, is changing its name to Angelion Mobility.
The company, which serves the Greater Philadelphia and Central New Jersey areas, has earned a reputation for having a stellar concierge level of service. It will continue serving the needs of families and individuals who require equipment and safety solutions so they can fully engage in life without limitation.
“Our goal continues to focus on finding ways to keep families and loved ones as independent as possible for as long as possible,” says Sheli Monacchio. Ms. Monacchio is the Senior Vice President for Angelion Mobility, and serves as the Mobility Concierge, assisting clients.
“We are seeing more families who want to honor the wishes of their loved ones to stay at home longer or to help them remain independent in Senior Living Communities. We pride ourselves on being experts ensuring the well-being of our clients.”
Angelion Mobility has a commitment to “Empowering Your Tomorrow”, which includes helping families secure equipment such as:
- Recliner lift chairs
- Modular Ramps
- Stairlifts
- Power wheelchairs and scooters
- Bathroom modifications – such as converting a tub or a shower to a walk-in shower, grab bars and non-slip floor treatments to reduce falls
- Ergonomic Wheelchairs-the most comfortable wheelchair available.
Helping Families Determine “What’s Next”
Conducting thorough home safety assessments for families who are not quite sure if remaining at home is right for their loved one is embedded in the DNA of Angelion Mobility. Should an assessment determine living at home independently is not a person’s best option, Angelion Mobility can assist families in obtaining services that match their needs – whether it is care management, hourly home care, a live-in caregiver, or senior living option.
“We first identify the limitations our clients may be facing,” Monacchio says.
- Do these limitations affect quality of life?
- Are they stopping the person from accessing the home they love?
- Are they preventing them from going to doctor appointments, shopping, or into the community because they are afraid to fall?
A Mission to Help Veterans and the Community Continues
Angelion Mobility also intends to continue its initiative of matching veterans and people in need with complimentary equipment to remain as independent as possible. The company accepts donations of gently used equipment such as wheelchairs, lift chairs, walkers, commodes, and bath chairs, and matches them to people and families hoping to keep their loved ones at home.
